Legend has it the basement of the rustic Mediterranean restaurant provided inspiration for Edgar Allan Poe's The Cask of Amontillado....If Poe had been able to sample il Buco's dinner menu, he’d have been far more sanguine -  the Umbrian fare at this gorgeous restaurant is like a concentrated dose of serotonin...it’s eclectic countryside bric-a-brac feel and its candlelit tables, some secreted to hidden nooks, give il Buco an incredibly romantic atmosphere. It’s basically a vacation in your mouth...this is the closest we’ve ever come to Italy without actually flying there.
