Bottega il Buco is the latest extension of Donna Lennard’s acclaimed NYC restaurants, il Buco and Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria in NoHo, inspired by and created with her original Bond Street partner, Alberto Avalle of Umbria. The team comes full circle with this picturesque jewel in the heart of Santa Gertrudis, Ibiza, a rustic setting teaming with delicious gourmet products.
Bottega shares the il Buco philosophy of sourcing the best ingredients both locally and in Avalle’s native Italy. An ancient grain Sicilian focaccia is the staple of Bottega with a variety of toppings that change with the seasons. With a no fire kitchen, the focus is on salumi, cheeses, and tinned fish from the Iberian Peninsula and Italy, as well as beautiful fresh salads, ceviches and crudo of the local catch.
